Seeking support after the Grenfell Inquiry Report publication
Healthwatch Kensington & Chelsea welcomes the publication of the second Grenfell Tower Inquiry Report, hoping that it will help bring justice to the 72 victims of the tragedy, as well as to all those affected and bereaved.
We understand that the publication of the Inquiry report may be triggering and have a negative impact on the emotional and mental wellbeing of Kensington & Chelsea residents. We encourage all residents affected to seek support and reach out if they are feeling distressed, by contacting their GPs and voicing their concerns.
For more specific support, The Grenfell Health and Wellbeing Service is also available at 020 8637 6279, Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. More details and self-referral options can be found on their website.
Moreover, several local organisations will be hosting Quiet Spaces, available each day from 04.09.2024 to 18.09.2024 – these will be occasions for the community to gather and reflect together on the lives lost during the tragedy.
- Notting Hill Methodist Church will be hosting worship areas, with teas and coffee, and giving people the opportunity to speak to the Reverend.
