Student Volunteering Week 2025 – Make a difference with us!

Student Volunteering Week is an annual celebration that is dedicated to encouraging students to volunteer and make a positive impact on their local communities. The initiative is led by the Student Volunteering Network, with support from Student Hubs and the National Union of Students.
If you would like to gain valuable work experience, help people have their say on health and social care or develop your skills, there many ways you can be involved and make a real difference to your community by volunteering with Healthwatch Westminster.
Whether you have a few hours to spare occasionally or you are looking for a regular commitment, we've got a volunteering opportunity for you!

What kinds of volunteering roles are available?
- Visit hospitals, community hubs, and local organisations to gather feedback on health and social care services.
- Participate in Enter & View visits to assess different health environments.
- Draft advice and signposting materials for our website communications and engagement events.
- While conducting engagement work, assist in signposting people to help them find essential information about local health services.
- Promote our work on various social media platforms to encourage more people to get involved.
