Healthwatch Kensington & Chelsea welcomes Katherine Shaw as new CEO and Charlotte as new Healthwatch Kensington and Chelsea Manager
Katherine brings extensive knowledge and service delivery experience from her previous role as National Operations Director of KIDS organisation. Additionally, she is deeply passionate about advocacy and is dedicated to empowering vulnerable and seldom heard groups to speak up for their needs!

We are also excited to welcome Charlotte Williams as our new Healthwatch Kensington & Chelsea Manager. In her spare time, Charlotte is currently a Postgraduate student, completing a Masters of Public Health, and has varied experience working in social care, the NHS as part of a School Nursing Team, working in support roles in charities and also working to commission public health services as part of a Local Authority Public Health Team. Charlotte is passionate about tackling health inequalities and amplifying the voice of the local community to support decision-making in the system.

It has been wonderful and inspiring getting to know everyone and learn more about the diverse backgrounds and experiences of the people who work here. I have been very lucky to have enjoyed supporting people directly on the “front-line”, as well as in the commissioning of public health services. I’m very grateful to now have the opportunity to champion health and social care needs as expressed by the local community.”
