Why get involved?
You’ll be joining a local trusted charity committed to making health and social care services the best they can be, ensuring that everyone’s voice is listened to so that meaningful change in service delivery and design can happen.
Not only that, it’s a great opportunity to meet like-minded people, use our training opportunities to expand your skills and make a positive impact in your community.
Volunteer for Young Healthwatch
Young Healthwatch volunteers are passionate about improving the mental health of young people living in or around RBKC. If you’re between 18 and 25 and live, work or study in or around RBKC we have a number of ways to get involved.
Volunteer as a Community Listener
Our Community Listeners talk to people from our local boroughs and listen to their views and experiences of the health and social care services.
Healthwatch uses Community Listeners’ feedback to inform and influence the design and delivery of services, holding services providers to account.
Volunteer as an Enter & View volunteer
We have a team of dedicated volunteers who carry out ‘Enter & View’ visits to local care homes, hospitals, and community services in Kensington & Chelsea to conduct surveys that assess whether patients are being treated with dignity and respect.
Volunteer as a Local Board Member
Share your thoughts and ideas on the latest health and social care developments and represent the borough you live in at bi-monthly committee meetings.
